and knowledge of specific musculoskeletal anatomy. These dynamic and inspiring seminars combine
movement to stimulate and embed proprioceptive self awareness, exercises to train touch sensitivity,
in-depth practical review of musculoskeletal anatomy, and specific guided palpation.

Extremities (18 CE Hours):
DATE: May 10, 11 & 12, 2011
TIME: 9:00am - 4:00pm Tue., Wed. & Thu
COST: $325.00 (2 weeks prior) / $375 thereafter (Min. Dep. $100)
This course covers Muscles that move the Upper and Lower Extremities and will include:
- Movement exercises that target specific muscles of the upper and lower extremities
- Touch sensitivity exercises to develop and heighten palpation skills
- In depth review of bony landmarks, muscle locations, specific attachments and actions of:
* Muscles that move the upper extremities focus on the scapula and rotator cuff
* Muscles that move the lower extremities focus on the hip
- Specific guided palpation incorporating intuitive self awareness, touch sensitivity
and knowledge of muscle anatomy (palpation manual with illustrations included)
Torso (18 CE Hours):
DATE: August 5, 6 & 7, 2011
TIME: Fri. 6:00pm - 9:00pm / Sat. & Sun. 9:00am - 5:30pm
COST: $325.00 (2 weeks prior) / $375 thereafter (Min. Dep. $100)
This course covers Muscles that move the Torso and will include:
- Movement exercises that target specific muscles of the neck, back and abdomen
- Touch sensitivity exercises to develop and heighten palpation skills
- In depth review of bony landmarks, muscle locations, specific attachments and actions of:
* Superficial and core muscles that move the head and cervical spine
* Core muscles that move the trunk
* Muscles that move the ribs
- Specific guided palpation incorporating intuitive self awareness, touch sensitivity
and knowledge of muscle anatomy (palpation manual with illustrations included)

Alex has maintained a private therapeutic massage practice in Miami since 1999.
He has been a core faculty member at Educating Hands since 2004 teaching courses in Kinesiology and Palpation,
Kinetics, Body Mechanics and Full Body Integration.
Alex is the Director of Admissions at Educating Hands and Massage Therapist at the Miami City Ballet.
